First floor lobby space allows for connection between the public and students. Two main entry points gather in this centralized lobby space, creating a hub for community members and students alike.

The main staircase was designed to create collaboration even in the transition between floors. The open staircase and the openings throughout the center wall allows for socialization through a necessary function in the building. The seating space at the bottom of the stairs allows for students to lounge and gather.

Interior multi-function event room provides a gathering and event space for both the university and community.

The first-floor dining hall was created as a gathering place for students to eat and socialize while enjoying expansive views of the city through floor to ceiling windows. The space is also accessible to the public, which enforces the student and community connection initiatives. The kitchen and serving line were designed to accommodate local business satellite locations.

2nd and 3rd floor student lounge and gathering space. This multi-story open atmosphere and gathering space was created to celebrate the classrooms and learning experience rather than hide them. It’s a hub for collaboration and connectivity.
