Entry to the Catalyst: The copper cladding on the monolith embodies the idea of a “catalyst,” while the LED light strips symbolize that the path of life is not a straight line.

South side of the Catalyst: Doors and a patio were added to the south side of the building to allow events to spill out into the adjacent park

Catalyst Studios: This space includes a Mac lab, audio and video control rooms, a small screening room, a Foley stage, and a full studio for student productions.

The Catalyst Studio: Students have the use of one of the first curved LED screens placed in a public school. They learn all aspects of film and video production, using professional cameras, software and sound equipment.

Unmanned Aircraft Lab: Students here have the opportunity to learn how to build, fly, and repair drones of all types and sizes, with easy access out to the park for test flights.

Culinary Arts Kitchen: Students in the Culinary Program enjoy a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, learning professional food preparation skills, catering, marketing, budget management, and café management, running the café adjacent to the kitchen.

Cyber Security: In the Cyber Security program, students build up their own server room, visible through the glazing at the side of the Lab, running cable through the color changing cable tray, and then learning hacking and security for IT systems.

Gaming Lab: View into the Gaming Lab, which abuts a Collaboration space shared with Cyber Security. A large glass slider allows the spaces to flow together.

Medical Assisting: This suite includes a reception desk and waiting area, Exam Rooms, and a toilet room with a specimen pass-through to the Med-Assist Lab.

Medical Assisting: Four exam rooms and a Procedures Room identical to those in the real world give students genuine experiences. Phlebotomy chairs are on display in the Lab, visible from the lobby below and the Gaming program across the lobby.

Pharmacy: The realistic retail pharmacy has drop-off & pick-up windows, as well as being set up with shelving, drawers and countertops where students learn how to dispense prescriptions. A hospital pharmacy adjacent includes a simulated clean room, hoods to compound IV prescriptions, and a medical pass-through.

Collab Lab: The capstone of the facility is the “Collab Lab”, where 6 Glass “Collab Cubes” allow student groups to work on projects together, and large groups to gather for presentations and large meetings as well, all with a magnificent view of the park.
