A new music suite was created in the footprint of the former library. These rooms are connected by a private performers corridor and are now in close proximity to the auditorium.

The new media center addition has windows on all four sides of an open and airy space. A central flexible space offers endless possibilities for meeting and gathering. A separate glass enclosed 'think tank' room serves as the hub for innovative, interactive and collaborative learning experiences.

This new main entrance is clearly recognized and welcomes the community at large. The secure visitor entrance is separate from the staff entrance. The generous use of security glazing greatly enhances visibility and brings abundant daylight into the entrance area.

The new gymnasium replaces a much smaller gym. The new gym provide ample room for community sporting events, something which was not possible in the old gym. It's prominent location at the corner of the site sets the tone for the entire experience and speaks highly of the school district's dedication to fitness and well-being.

Interior view of the new media center/learning commons looking towards the 'think tank'. The heavy chairs and tables have been replaced by open, flexible and comfortable seating which encourages interaction and invites the students to stay for a while.

Interior view of the large gymnasium. In addition to full court basketball ample space gas been provided for spectator seating. This entire area (with its support facilities) can be completely closed off from the rest of the school and accessed through its own entrance.

The new main entrance lobby is a large volume space with ample daylight, welcoming to the entire school community.

The renovated auditorium provides a stage of the art venue for use by school and community groups. With this remodeling acoustics, lighting and sound were greatly improved.

A typical new science lab is shown here. All of these were clustered in a separate addition attached to an existing science wing. The layout of these rooms allows for a high degree of collaboration. These labs are very similar to high school science labs and provide a seamless continuum of program.

One of the newly renovated music rooms created by raising the roof structure to create a much higher volume space. This space was engineered to provide good acoustics and noise control.
